Fort Scratchley

Fort Scratchley is the only fort in Australia to have returned fire on an enemy ship during wartime.  The fort was built in the late 1800s to protect the Newcastle coastline and is rich in military history.  The site offers amazing views of the city, harbour and beaches and opportunities are available for delegates to fire the cannons on site as a unique and memorable experience.

The Hunter Wetlands Centre
