Location & Parking

Newcastle City Hall is located off King Street in the heart of the Newcastle civic precinct. It is adjacent to Civic Park, a beautiful spot for your wedding photo. There is plenty of street parking in the precinct.

Food & Beverage

Venue Management Services (VMS) is the in-house caterer for all Newcastle City Hall business events, functions and weddings.
 
The VMS food philosophy revolves around supporting local food and beverage producers and creating menus utilising the freshest seasonal produce. Menus created for Newcastle City Hall demonstrate a commitment to ethically and sustainably grown food and wines from the Newcastle region.

Equipment Hire 

Complimentary equipment provided at City Hall includes blackout facilities, wired microphone and lectern, flipchart, whiteboard and WIFI.

Additional equipment available for hire includes data projector and screens (16ft, 8ft & 10ft), LCD 55 inch screens and lapel/handheld microphones.

Some things for you to consider when making your booking:

  • We will hold a tentative booking for 7 days
  • Bookings will be considered confirmed upon receipt of a signed agreement and payment of the full venue hire charge
  • Final guest numbers and full payment of food and beverage is required seven days prior to your function
