Commonly required during the sale of property, a Section 603 Certificate identifies if there are any due or payable fees to Council, by way of rates, charges or otherwise in respect of a parcel of land (Lot and DP). Each property number requires a separate 603 Certificate and they are only valid for the date of issue. Solicitors, real estate agents and members of the public may make an application to Council for a certificate by completing the Section 603 form accompanied by the approved fee.
If you are purchasing a property you may also want a Section 735A Application for Outstanding Notices / Orders.
