Accessibility

The Fort Scratchley Historic Site can be accessed by people with a range of mobility issues but it should be noted that there is uneven ground on site. There is also a significant incline to reach the top of the site.

As the tunnels were developed in the 1800s they are not suited to those with mobility issues. The tunnels have stairs, uneven ground and narrow walkways.

Both the Function Centre and the Barracks are accessible by wheelchair. There are accessible toilets on site and designated accessible parking bays adjacent to the Function Centre.

Please note: No animals are permitted inside Fort Scratchley grounds excepting registered campanion animals.

If you have any concerns or questions about accessing the site please contact the Fort via email.
