Take the leap and rediscover learning this Spring.

Adult Learners Week is celebrated Friday 1 September to 8 September 2017 with hundreds of events and activities designed to promote the benefits of learning at any stage of your life. There are so many opportunities to learn available throughout Australia. Newcastle Region Library will be promoting its learning opportunities during Adult Learners Week.

How can you get involved?
 
  • Chat to our friendly staff at any of our nine library branch locations. We can help you sign up for one of our programs, recommend some good reading or help you with your technological questions
  • Visit our eLibrary and download a wide variety of FREE books, audiobooks, magazines and films to your device
  • Come along to one of our technology help sessions, drop in, no bookings necessary:
    • Wallsend District Library -  every Tuesday 2.00-3.00pm
    • Adamstown Library - every Thursday 2.30-4.30pm

  • Learn a new language with Mango Languages website or app, just use your library barcode number to log in
  • Find out more about your family tree and discover your surrounding history by visiting our Local History Library located on the 2nd floor of City Library or discover their fantastic online resources.
