Dr Penny Stannard presents: 'Captured: Portraits of Crime'

Join Dr Penny Stannard in our Local History Lounge as she brings some of the stories from our 'Captured: Portraits of Crime' exhibition to life. Dr Stannard's talk is on Thursday 6 December from 12.30-1.30pm, and bookings are preferred

'Captured: Portraits of Crime' is an exhibition produced by State Archives and Records NSW that explores the stories of men, women and children who were incarcerated in NSW gaols from 1870 to 1930. The exhibition engages with photographic portraits and descriptions of prisoners.
