International Day of People with Disabilities
3 December marked the International Day of People with Disabilities and to acknowledge and support this day we are hosting two events in the Lovett Gallery on Thursday 13 December. I'm more like you than you think
a living books session and The Wide Angle Film Festival.
I'm more like you than you think - A living books session where local people with disabilities talk about their experiences and can be "read" by those attending. The session is happening on Thursday 13 December at the Lovett Gallery Space at 1pm. Please RSVP to Steve Warham firstname.lastname@example.org
The Wide Angle Film Festival - two screenings of a collection of award winning Australian and International short films that reflect the lived experience of people with disabilities. The screenings will include open captions. The event is happening on Thursday 13 December at the Lovett Gallery Space. The first screening is at 3pm and the second at 5:30pm.
Film content goes for just for an hour and a short discussion will also be held on the day. For bookings or to discuss these events further, please contact Steve Warham on 0419 616 818.
