New to Kanopy this month

15 Jan 2018

Begin the new year with new critically-acclaimed films including the SXSW Film Festival Nominee, Cameraperson, a visually
bold memoir of famous director, Kirsten Johnson. This January, we are also celebrating women in the film industry with our Directed by Women Collection, and tackling health notions and New Year's resolutions with our Health and Wellness Collection.

As well as our collections you can browse new films on Kanopy including Oscar nominated Toni Erdmann, stand out British cinema The Trip to Spain, the visually stunning climate-change documentary Time to Choose, and the highly acclaimed British drama Lady MacBeth.

Kanopy films can be watched on any internet enabled computer. Internet Explorer version 10 or above is recommended. Kanopy is also available via downloadable app on iOS and Android mobile devices, as well as Roku streaming media players. Each user has 20 'credits' per month and each movie uses 1 credit. Once you press play on a film, you have 3 days to view it as many times as you like without using another play credit. The credit quota resets at the start of each calendar month.
First time users can visit Kanopy to register. You will need your library membership number and a valid email address.

Kanopy is part of our growing eLibrary, visit your local branch or phone: 4974 5342 if you need help accessing our collections online.
