New Lambton Library is centrally located in Regent Street, surrounded by cafes and boutiques, with a bus stop right outside. The library has a variety of study and reading areas and a diverse collection of books, magazines, movies and music. Staff are also happy to assist you with the large range of resources available online in our eLibrary. Programmes run at New Lambton include Baby Book Time, Rock & Rhyme Time, Storytime, Book Busters and Book Chat. See the latest brochure or our What's On page for times and dates. The library also provides access to photocopying, printing and computer use and free WiFi. The Newcastle Toy Library is also housed at the New Lambton Library. The Toy Library is open each Saturday morning and allows children to borrow toys for a party, education or just to play!
If you have a pram or mobility aid and need to access a program in our meeting room downstairs such as Rock & Rhyme or to borrow from the Newcastle Toy Library please let staff know and we can open the downstairs side door for easy access.
