Boat Ramps
The City of Newcastle builds and maintains boat ramps in the area
In the recent past the Carrington Boat Ramp has been upgraded and Stockton South Ramp has had a replacement pontoon and boat access facility completed
Currently North Stockton Ramp has had preliminary works completed (breakwater upgrade and electrical pole relocation) in preparation for a floating boat launch facility. The boat launch facility is in final design and approval stage with installation scheduled for the second half of 2011
