People all over the world are moving backwards in time to a place to when things were a little slower, a little less complicated and people sat together feasting on fresh organic home grown produce.
Growing and sharing organic produce with community is a wondrous opportunity for all ages. Community gardens provide a safe place for people who don't have space or access of their own.
The spirit of community ignites as groups form to learn about:
- Organic or permaculture farming
- Worm farming
- Composting
- Organic control of pests and diseases
- Eat produce and swap recipes.
If you would like to be a community gardener please contact the Community Greening Centre on 02 4904 3300.
