City Centre specific maps

There are three maps specific to the Newcastle City Centre.  These have been carried over from the Newcastle City Centre LEP 2008 and are:

There are seven types of maps applying to the entire area covered by the draft Newcastle LEP 2011.  These maps include:

Draft Land Zonings maps specify the type of land uses permitted. 

Draft Height of Buildings maps specify the maximum height of new buildings in metres.

Draft Floor Space Ratio maps specify the maximum floor space ratio permitted.

Draft Heritage maps identify all listed heritage items and conservation areas as listed in the written instrument.

Draft Lot Size maps specify the minimum lot size in square metres.

Draft Acid Sulfate Soils maps identify areas where soil excavation may disturb acid sulfate soils.

Draft Land Reservation Acquisition maps identify land Council and other public authorities have identified for acquisition.

For the purpose of reporting the maps have been displayed on six sheets.  The Department of Planning and Infrastructure will place these into a revised grid so that they are more accessible for electronic viewing.
