About the delivery program
The City of Newcastle's Delivery Program and Operational Plan is the implementation plan for Newcastle 2030.
It sets out the City of Newcastle’s four year objectives. It identifies the major projects, programs and services that will be undertaken to achieve those objectives, together with how they will be measured. It provides a budget and four year forward estimates for the 2011/2012 financial year through to 2014/2015. It also details the annual budget, rates model and fees and charges for the financial year 2011/12.
Previously Council has prepared a management plan, however changes to the Local Government Act 1993 established an Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework and Council is now required to prepare a four year Delivery Program and one year Operational Plan.
