Q. I’m interested in working at The City of Newcastle in a temporary outdoor position. How can I apply?
A. If you are interested in working in a temporary or contract labour outdoor position please contact Labourco at 235 Darby Street Cooks Hill on 02 4924 8150.
Q. Will my application be reviewed if I only submit a resume?
A. Unless otherwise specified in the advertisement, your application will not be considered unless you have submitted a resume and a document that addresses the selection criteria.
Q. I want to make a general application for future positions. How can I do this?
A. We do not consider or keep on record applications that are not directed towards a current vacancy.
Q. Where do I find the selection criteria?
A. The selection criteria is found on the last page of the Position Description which is listed as a separate document for all vacancies.
Q. It’s been over four weeks since the closing date and I haven’t heard from anybody at The City of Newcastle, what has happened?
A. If you have not been contacted within four weeks of the closing date it means that you have not been successful for the position you have applied for.
