Annual Report
The Annual Report is a document that allows the Department of Local Government to see a snapshot on the status of activities provided by Councils up until the 30th June.
It also provides a status on the legal proceedings carried out throughout the year, the fees and expenses of elected representatives and senior staff and the contracts awarded in excess of $100,000.
This information allows the Department to ensure Councils are accountable and transparent in their dealings with the community.

Annual Financial Statements
Annual financial statements are prepared according to the Department of Local Government’s Code of Accounting Practice and Financial Reporting. They are presented to Council annually and externally audited.
