City consumption
ClimateCam is the world's first greenhouse gas speedometer. It provides an accurate measuring tool to track the greenhouse gas emissions for the City of Newcastle, NSW, Australia.
ClimateCam will provide monthly consumption data and greenhouse gas emissions from the following sectors:-
ClimateCam will provide monthly estimates for consumption data and greenhouse gas emissions from gas and transport in Newcastle, based on the data available.
ClimateCam will also report on the effectiveness of the actions within the City's local greenhouse action plan entitled the Greenhouse Action in Newcastle or the GAIN plan 2001-2008.
ClimateCam has been developed by Newcastle City Council's AMEIF team in conjunction with its Greenhouse Action Partners.
