School Holidays

As part of the artNRG program, the Newcastle Region Art Gallery runs school holiday workshops every school holidays.

Our workshops for young people target three age groups: 5 to 8 year olds, 9 to 12 year olds and 13 to 16 year olds. The workshops are taught by artists who are specialists in their field, and are chosen to complement works on exhibition in the gallery, so that students gain insight into the processes that have been used by the artist whilst having fun.

The next round of workshops will be in January 2010. Bookings are essential for these very popular sessions, as our numbers are limited. The cost for these workshops is $15 per student.
