For the duration of Treasures of Newcastle from the Macquarie era, the Gallery Shop will double in size! The expanded Gallery Shop will feature a carefully selected variety of items, including a comprehensive range of local and historical publications, hand crafted jewellery and beautiful objects and design. There will also be journals, watercolours and art supplies to cater to your creative cravings.

Priding itself on a unique range of hand crafted jewellery, ceremics, art books, cards and design objects, the Newcastle Art Gallery shop always has something different in store. The shop has a specific focus on local artisans whilst also reflecting the Gallery's exciting exhibition program.

Newcastle Art Gallery Society members receive a 10% discount on all purchases from the Gallery Shop.

Following the Art Gallery redevelopment, the Gallery Shop will grow to over forty square metres of retail space, increasing our ability to provide unique and beautiful stock. Australia designers and artists will be a major focus, as well as specialised art publications, gift wares, homewares, and a range of cards featuring works from the Newcastle Art Gallery collection. The new Gallery Shop will give patrons of the redeveloped Gallery a retail experience that will accentuate and support their experience of the exhibitions on display.
