Nobbys, Bar Beach and Newcastle Ocean Baths are patrolled by Council Lifeguards from 8am - 4.30pm seven day a week from 6 May until 19 Augusr 2013. All other beaches are not patrolled. Merewether Ocean Baths is open but unpatrolled.

 

PLUS tune into Radio 2HD on frequency 1143 at 8:30am and 3:30pm during daylight savings or check PRIME weather reports for the latest information on beach conditions.

Note: conditions are at the time of uploading and can change rapidly ALWAYS check current weather reports and REMEMBER;  ask the Lifeguard on duty if you are in any doubt about swimming or surfing conditions - they are there to help you.
