Clean Beach awards
Newcastle beaches took out every category at the regional Keep Australia Beautiful Clean Beach awards.
Merewether was named the overall winner in the Hunter category as well as receiving the water conservation and community partnership and actions awards.

About Clean Beaches
The Clean Beaches program encourages diverse groups and individuals within a coastal community to form a Clean Beaches Committee and work together to identify and manage sustainability and beautification projects relevant to their beach.
