ClubGRANTS

Clubs that earn over $1 million annually in gaming machine revenue provide funding for community projects and services, and in turn receive dollar-for-dollar gaming tax deductions.  In 2010, clubs reported ClubGRANTS (formerly Community Development Support Expenditure) expenditure of over $63 million across New South Wales.

The ClubGRANTS scheme is designed to ensure registered clubs in NSW contribute to the provision of front-line services to their local communities.  It also ensures that the disadvantaged in the community are better positioned to benefit from the substantial contributions made by those clubs and to improve the wellbeing of their communities.
