    Please note that our Local Studies Library will be closed from Monday 15 August to Wednesday 31 August 2016 inclusive. The closure is necessary as we relocate to the refurbished Local Studies Reading room.

    Newcastle City Council is undertaking building work on the Newcastle War Memorial Cultural
    Centre, including Local Studies, The Lovett Gallery and City Library. The work commences in July
    and will be completed by November 2016.
