The Local Studies Library holds a large collection of historical maps & plans. These include parish maps, land subdivision & real estate plans, & architectural & engineering plans.

Streets included on the map are Hunter Street, King Street, Church Street, Bolton Street, Newcomen Street, Watt Street, Wolfe Street & Perkins Street.

The archive of the architects Pitt & Merewether who designed many commercial buildings in Newcastle as well as many of Newcastle’s hotels. Historical council plans of the City of Newcastle, & Creer & Berkeley subdivision plans.
