Special Collections
Newcastle Region Library’s Special Collections have been part of the Library’s service to the community for over 50 years. Of special significance to the Library are the bequests which established the Library’s collection. The Pope, Darley & Gullett collections are among those donations which have provided the local community with the opportunity to access these rare & unique items.
Other collections have particular significance to Newcastle. These collections contain a range of resources which support research into the local area including in the areas of planning, industrial heritage & business. Our collections can be accessed & searched through our library catalogue or ASK a Librarian for more information.
