Newcastle Region Library provides a free home delivery service to residents in the Newcastle Local Government Area who have difficulty visiting the library as a result of age, illness, disability or carer's responsibilities.

Items are selected to meet each customer's needs and are delivered to their home once a month. Members of our Home Library Service can choose to borrow up to 30 items per month from the library's collection including:

     • Fiction and non-fiction books in standard print

     • Large print books

     • Talking books on cassette and CD

     • Magazines

     • DVDs and CDs

     • Community language books in a range of languages.
