The City of Newcastle has changed the way household garbage is collected.
The new 140 litre red lid bins are used for general waste which is collected weekly. The old general waste bin recieved a new lime green lid and a small grate for for green waste collection on the alternate week to your recycling.
The yellow lid bin is still used for recyclables and collected fortnightly. The green lid bin is used for green waste and collected fortnightly on the alternate week to the recycling collection.
