The City of Newcastle offer a range of waste options so that residents can tailor a service to their needs.
Upsize your bin
You can now upsize any of your 3 bins to cater for your waste needs. Your general waste bin (red lid) can be upgraded from a 140 litre to a 240 litre, recycling (yellow lid) from a 240 litre to a 360 litre, or you can order an additional 240 litre green waste bin (green lid). To upsize your bin, please download and complete one of the below forms:
Excess service
An 'excess service' request allows residents and businesses to have their bin serviced more regularly than the current schedule, at a cost. For example, this could be twice or more per week. To request an excess service for your home or business, please download and complete one of the below forms:
