Elermore Vale - Stewart Park stormwater improvements
Council is undertaking work to improve stormwater surface flows in the Stewart Park (Croudace Road), Elermore Vale area.
The work involves the relocation of underground utilities (gas, electrical and water), regrading grass verge areas and constructing a new stormwater pit and drainage culvert. The culvert and stormwater pit, combined with the regrading, will assist in capturing more surface water and improving stormwater management.
The project will be completed in two stages:
Works will commence in first half of 2019, once electrical relocation works have been completed.
- Stage one will involve gas and water main adjustments, verge regrading and construction of approximately half of the culvert length.
- Stage two will follow with the adjustment of the electrical main and the final portion of drainage.
