There have been several changes at our venues and facilities:

City Administration - Customer Service
The Customer Service Centre at 12 Stewart Avenue is open. COVID-19 restrictions are in place and we encourage you to continue to connect with us by phone, web chat or customer request form. Find out more the City of Newcastle Administration and Customer Service Centre.
Function rooms located within City Hall and the Fort Scratchley Function Centre are available for hire, with COVIDSafe plans in place to ensure the safety of attendees. Find out more about venues to hire.
The Civic Theatre is open. Audience numbers will are capped in the Civic Theatre and The Playhouse to allow physical distancing. Find out more about the Civic Theatre.
Fort Scratchley is pen to the public six days a week, between 10am and 4pm. Admission is free. Tunnel Tour bookings from 1 November. Find out more about Fort Scratchley.
Newcastle Art Gallery
Newcastle Art Gallery is open Tuesday to Sunday with two daily sessions at 10am and 2pm. Each session is for 3 hours duration. Bookings are essential to reserve a spot in one of the daily sessions. Find out more about the Art Gallery.
Newcastle Libraries is operating a COVID Safe service model, and our library branches are open and ready to welcome you. Find out more about the Newcastle libraries.
Newcastle Museum is open however you’ll need to bring your phone with you on your next visit! Visitors will need to scan in at entry points using a QR code. Find out more about the museum.
Visitor Information Centre
The Visitor Information Centre is open from 9.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, and 10am to 2pm on Saturdays. Find out more about the Visitor Information Centre.
