Customer Service Centre
In-person services at 12 Stewart Avenue have resumed with COVID-19 restrictions in place. The Customer Service Centre is open Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm. Cashless transactions are preferred.

Temporary Parking Permit
The essential services Temporary Parking Permit will allow doctors, nurses, pharmacists and paramedics who live in commercial zones (in the city centre, Hamilton and Darby Street) to park close to home for free and for an unlimited time. Health care workers and emergency services personnel can apply by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Annual Fire Safety Statement
We have not received any changes in directive from the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment in relation to the necessity for building owner/owner's agents to submit an Annual/Supplementary Fire Safety Statements to Council and Fire & Rescue. It is imperative that fire safety measures safeguard our community as they support and comply with the Federal and State COVID-19 restrictions. Find out more.
We are experiencing, and its notable impacts to food businesses, the City of Newcastle has developed a brief checklist and information to assist food businesses during these challenging times.
Food inspection fees have been waived on inspections carried out between 27 April 2020 and 30 June 2020.
