Draft Parking Plan - On the street

City of Newcastle has prepared a draft Parking Plan – On the street – a plan to better manage parking in the LGA, to guide our actions for parking management over the next ten years.

Management of parking throughout the city is essential to ensure alignment with our broader land use and transport goals. The way parking is managed can complement our efforts to increase walking, riding and public transport use.

A series of workshops was held with key industry stakeholders to inform development of the draft Plan.

The feedback period for Draft Parking Plan - On the street is now closed and a report is being prepared for Council's consideration.
