MakerSpace

Explore The Space at Newcastle Region Library: a place to connect, create, collaborate, innovate, make and enjoy! Find inspiration and share your creative passion.

The Space is our exciting new makerspace, a dynamic, community driven hub for creativity and innovation. Visit, explore, offer ideas and join in the making! The Space will feature an ongoing suite of maker programs for ages 8 – 99. Programs range from drawing, digital embroidery and sewing classes, to Raspberry Pi, 3D print workshops, and electronic circuit and robotic kit assembly. Check our What's On calendar for more information and to register your interest.

Pitch us your great idea of how you want to use The Space. We are looking forward to partnering with community groups, schools, organisations and businesses to activate The Space with free or accessible learning opportunities, thought provoking experiences and creative endeavours. If you have a proposal to activate The Space, we would love to hear from you E: library@ncc.nsw.gov.au
