Council Building Upgrades

Through the Newcastle 2020 Carbon and Water Management Action Plan, Council has established a series of goals to achieve further progress towards financial and environmental sustainability. The majority of the work is being achieved through the Newcastle Smart Buildings Smart Workforce and through delivery of other projects including solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery storage systems, energy efficiency upgrades, voltage optimisation and power factor correction and water, waste and liquid fuel efficiency.
