Phase One: Development of the Renewed Concept Design

We are working to renew a preliminary concept design of the Bathers Way section which runs through King Edward Park after a preliminary concept design was developed in 2014. This will extend from the previous works at The Terrace carpark, through King Edward Park, connecting to Shortland Esplanade and through to South Newcastle Beach.

Community Reference Group (CRG)

Earlier this year we sought expressions of interest to form a Community Reference Group (CRG) to help shape this next stage of Bathers Way.
