Here in Newcastle we celebrate our unique city and recognise the important role events play in connecting our community and enhancing tourism opportunities. It's equally important to us to get the balance right to protect our natural assets and keep them unique for everyone to enjoy for years to come. You may be a business or organisation hosting an event or simply wanting to take family and friends for a picnic. There's a lot happening in our city that we're really excited about so whatever the occasion, a little research and planning will ensure your event is a huge success! Here's everything you need to know about where you can host an event and how to get it up and running.
City Events will not be accepting Event Applications for park reserve, beach reserve and road reserve bookings occurring between Monday 12 December 2022 and Monday 9 January 2023. For events occurring during this period, applications must be received no later than 29 November 2022.
