Register of Government Contracts
The City of Newcastle (CN) register of government contracts provides information about contracts to which we are a party that have (or are likely to have) a value of $150,000 or more.
The Local Government Act 1993 (section 53) stipulates that we keep a register of all land vested in its control and to make this information available to members of the public. This includes Community, Operational and Crown land under our care, control and management.
Our land register maps identify all land vested in or under our control.
This register is current as at December 2021.
Register of Investments
We invest our temporary surplus funds in accordance with our Investment Policy, Investment Strategy and State Government requirements. We also provide a monthly report of our investments to Council which includes our register.

Our register of delegations is the formal instrument used to delegate the authority to exercise CN's functions to our officers.

Our register of graffiti removal work records the graffiti removal work carried out by us in accordance with the Graffiti Control Act 2008. This information is updated quarterly.

Register of current declarations of disclosures of political donations (section 328A of the Local Government Act 1993)
To access information such as current donations and expenditure declarations lodged by Councillors with the Electoral Funding of NSW, please go to the Election Funding Authority’s website or contact the Election Funding Authority on 1300 135 736.
Register of voting on planning matters (section 375A of the Local Government Act 1993)
Our current Register of voting on planning matters (PDF) records the names of the Councillors that vote for and against each planning decision of Council. A planning decision is a resolution of the Council or a committee of Council that determines a matter relating to a development application, an environmental planning instrument, a development control plan or a development contribution plan.

Register of disclosures for Councillors, Executive Leadership Team and Audit and Risk Committee
In accordance with the Information and Privacy Commissioner Guideline for local Councils on the disclosure of information (returns disclosing the interests of Councillors and designated persons), City of Newcastle’s Register of Disclosures for Councillors, Executive Leadership Team and Audit and Risk Committee is now available as follows:

Register of Interests for Councillors
Our Register of Interests for Councillors records declarations made at Council and Committee of Council meetings or as submitted in writing by a Councillor. This Register is updated on a monthly basis for the current term of our Councillors.
